Snowbee Challenge - TFF
Snowbee have teamed up with Total Fly Fisher magazine to recognise and reward those most special and memorable catches everybody aspires to. Meet the targets, win the prizes and find recognition in the pages of Total FlyFisher and, if you are lucky enough to make your catch using your favourite Snowbee tackle, then tell us about it on the application form and every month one lucky angler can receive an additional special prize of a new XSD reel and matching fly line too!
Everybody knows how good it feels to get that special fish in the net. That's why we've teamed up with Total FlyFisher magazine to provide a fantastic series, designed to reward memorable catches and give you something to remind you of your best fish, for years to come.

The TFF Snowbee Challenge sets you six targets. Meet just one target and you'll be sent a classy enamelled badge to display on your hat or waistcoat. There's also the chance to win some great new Snowbee tackle too.

Every month, we will be giving away a Snowbee Diamond rod, with a new Geo Fly reel and a Twin Colour fly line, to the angler with the most noteworthy and exceptional catch of that month.

The top two runners up will also receive a Snowbee XS fly line – if you’ve not used one before you will wonder why you never did the minute you first try one!.

Furthermore, the photos and stories behind the most noteworthy captures will be printed in the magazine as a permanent reminder and for others to share in recounting that most memorable of experiences.

With categories from Small Water Rainbow to Big Water Brown, Salmon & Sea Trout and everything in between, there's a target to hit wherever you fish. The 'Snowbee Challenge Angler Of The Month' will be picked by the magazine team and it does not have to be the biggest fish to win; it could be an exceptional specimen for the venue, a first fish, a personal best or an unusual capture.

To enter online and for full details, just follow the link ………(Click here for entry form and details) and be sure to collect the series of badges. Hopefully maybe even next visit to your local fishery you too will be the proud owner of a new Diamond rod, reel and line outfit! (Click here to view details of the new Diamond rod range)
Snowbee Sponsorship Programme
For many years Snowbee have been involved with sponsoring certain events and teams and continue to be proactive in this area of marketing and product development for a very good reason.

In order to keep up with the demands of the market place, one has to stay close to it and gather as much product information and user demand and feedback as possible. One also has to be aware of, and have access to, the best possible raw materials, designs and manufacturing processes. We are confident in all of these areas and to keep abreast and aware of the demands we have an excellent association with many of the best fishing teams, individuals and events across the world.

All Snowbee product designs are put together and developed in the UK whether specifically for the UK market, or for bespoke demands locally and overseas. Locally we rely upon our own team of Snowbee personnel and the successful Snowbee Fly fishing Team for game products plus a number of highly respected teams and individuals across the breadth of the UK in both the game and the Sea fishing markets. Further afield we have an excellent rapport with many regional representatives and very proud to be associated with and contributed towards a number of the most successful national teams across Europe and elsewhere in the World.

In the news section, is a current glimpse of some of the teams, events and successes resulting from the associations with Snowbee in recent times from the Czech World Champions to local events near Snowbee’s UK office at Plymouth in the South West of England. Visit our news section for updates and to keep abreast of the latest news on further events and activities as they take place and unfold.

Snowbee continually looks to promote and develop new products and awareness through very specific and carefully budgeted sponsorship of events and programmes, to which we are already fully committed. (More information can be obtained by contacting us on flyfish@snowbee.co.uk)

Whilst our support of certain popular events continues, we are a commercial business, and cannot support all we would like to. We do review our activities however and welcome enquiries for further support and events but we have to limit our support to sensible proportions and do so at the expense of other budgeted activity.

From left to right, fellow England International Paul Golding, Mike OKopski, newest member Steve Ebdon, Captain Andy Cottam, Keith and John Gollop (not Pictured here) and far right Snowbee’s Simon Kidd. The other new member, invited to join the team this year and supporting youth opportunity, is England Junior International Matthew Kidd who is seen below with fellow team members, taking the individual honours at the South West heat of the Small Water Championships in 2007, fished at Innis Fishery, whilst the older members of Team Snowbee take the 3 man Team Title.
Matt is equally at home on rivers and still waters and provides a very new and fresh outlook on modern styles and popular trends for younger people in fishing today.

Having qualified through the Southwest finals, Team Snowbee went on to finish Runners up to Wales in the Inaugural International Small water Final fished at Elinor later in the year, having represented England in the competition as reigning National Champions from the previous Season too.

England Ladies National Team

In 2008 Snowbee have teamed up with Fish & Fly to help equip the England Ladies Team with new shirts for the 2008 Season.

Once again the Snowbee (Cotton/Polyester) shirts have been requested to dress a team in smart practical clothing, which is warm in winter, cool enough to be worn in the summer and comfortable enough to be worn all day, any day.

There are also a number of items in the Snowbee range like the Breeze Bloc fleece, specifically designed with the lady angler in mind. Other items include waders from size 4, Fly vests in a wide range of sizes, and even bright pink hats, just some of the items preferred and designed specifically with the lady angler in mind. .

Snowbee wish all the ladies a successful event at the Home International in June, that takes place this year at the picturesque, Lake of Menteith in Scotland.

Snowbee England Rivers Team

Since 1996 Snowbee have been sponsoring the England Rivers Team and continue to do so today. The relationship with the Team and all members has been very strong over the years and the feedback on the strengths and demands for new and improved equipment has been invaluable. In terms of new product design, innovation and reliability at the cutting edge of performance, there can be few better testing grounds than the in the hands of Englands cream of fishermen, with many years of experience between them.

Snowbee continue to support the team and benefit from the exercise which we trust is wholly mutual.
